COLOURED LIGHT - GREEN

Green light is a primary additive colour - as it is one of the colours to make white light

You 'see' green when all the other wavelengths of colour are absorbed into a surface, and green is reflected to your eye..

In the depth of a rainforest the light will reflect from all the green. We connect to nature with green.

Meet George Green light!

Green light is a primary additive colour - as it is one of the colours to make white light.

If equal proportions of these colours are added then white light is seen.

A mixture of different amount of colours will create the other colours

Different light colours will make an object look different. Our brain will look at different parts of the image, compare them and determine what the colour would be if it were illuminated with white light.

Wendy's owl is silver. Under normal light you can see the contrasts and reflections.

When the silver is under green light, all the colours are absorbed except for green which is reflected to the eye. The owl feels like it is deep in the forest!
