1. A DESIGN EXCURSION website (adesignexcursion.com.au) is intended as an educational forum, while providing designer items for sale. We offer free postage within Australia and returns - see details below. We hope to be approachable, and responsive, while providing beneficial and practical information and discussions. Because design (especially colour) is very subjective, and humans experience things in different ways there may be occasions where different interpretations and opinions occur. We may make mistakes, but are usually open to discussion about most design issues. Please contacting us by email (button below) if you have any concerns or comments.
2. We endeavour to make A DESIGN EXCURSION a pleasurable experience for all, and therefore have the right to terminate any use of our site if we believe you are abusing the general rules of this site. We will not tolerate anything that is unlawful, (or could be deemed to be unlawful) dangerous, vulgar, bullying, abusive, menacing, obscene or otherwise unpleasant . We encourage you to read the Terms of Use Agreement in its entirety before using A DESIGN EXCURSION website. 3. The content within the a design excursion site includes copyrighted works proprietary to us or to ‘third parties’, who have provided us with content (‘content providers’). By using the a design excursion site, you agree that we (or our content providers) own all worldwide rights, titles and interests in and to the site and all intellectual property rights therein. We’re pleased if you find our information useful enough to want to make a copy. You may download and print a single copy of the content solely for educational or your personal non-commercial use, provided it is not altered in any way and contains all copyright and proprietary rights notices – you must credit a design excursion and/or the owner of the content as the copyright owner. If you’d like to use a design excursion content for any other purpose, including commercial, you must gain our permission first. Any unauthorised or unapproved use of any of the content constitutes copyright infringement and we will take appropriate legal action to assert our rights under domestic and international copyright, trademark, and other laws and treaties. The a design excursion logo is a registered trademark - number 1726686 from 12/10/2015.
4. Be assured that any personal information collected by A DESIGN EXCURSION will not be shared with anyone else. Please also see our Privacy Policy which goes into more detail. Additionally, while we take precautions regarding internet safety, we cannot guarantee that any file available for download from our website is free from virus. This also applies for any links. Payment is through PayPal, which includes access to major credit cards. We feel safe using this system, however if you wish to use another method please contact us so we may make other arrangements. We must receive payment in full before any A DESIGN EXCURSION product can be sent to you. Delivery is after your order is received. It is sent immediately to our packers and sent the same working day or next working day of order. There may be occasions when custom orders need to be produced. We will promptly make arrangements for the piece to be custom made, as discussed with each customer, and dispense to you when we receive it. As we advocate a healthy work/life balance we do not work 24/7 and we encourage screen free Sundays. Australia Post offices are also not open at these times. Please contact us if you do not receive your box within 7 days. Postage is inclusive for a standard Australia Post delivery in Australia.
POSTAGE/SHIPPING: We offer free standard postage within Australia, for all our products except paintings. It will be automatically applied at checkout. If you require international shipping or prefer express delivery in Australia select and pay for that option at checkout. Because we care so much for each of our creations, and that you receive them, insurance and 'sign on delivery' is included for Australian delivery. Please contact us if you wish to negotiate a different delivery.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability - Our products are hand made or limited edition environmentally friendly products. They are not perfect, machine made items. You may find interesting knots and bumps which are part of their charm. A DESIGN EXCURSION disclaim all warranties, express or implied in relation to this site content, products and services to the full extent permissible by applicable law, other than what is required by statutory obligations, and will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site or the Site Content, Products and Services, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages, unless specified in writing by A DESIGN EXCURSION. If however, there are major holes, breakages, or other defects, please contact us so we can discuss either to try and rectify the problem or receive a full refund. We must be notified (by email) of any damaged or faulty items within 5 days of receipt of the items. Please then post the items back, and we will replace them, fix them, or refund you the purchase and postage amount as mutually agreed. Goods returned without authorisation will not be accepted. If you are not happy with the product or just change your mind, we are also happy to refund the product once we receive it back in the same condition as sent, but you will be required to pay for shipping. You would also be required to notify us within 5 days of receipt.
6. We provide this site and its Content to you on an ‘as is', with all faults’ basis. Your use of the site and Content is at your own risk. It takes time to get things just right and we make no assertions or warranty, express or implied that any content is accurate, complete, appropriate, reliable or timely. We also do not guarantee that your access to and use of the site will be (1) uninterrupted or error-free; (2) free of viruses, unauthorised code, or other harmful systems (3) is completely secure. Some of the applications we use do use cookies. Please take all appropriate means to control them to your satisfaction. You are responsible taking all precautions you believe necessary to protect you against any loss or hazard that may occur as a result of using the A DESIGN EXCURSION site. We have no control over the internet and are not liable for any delay, failure, interruption or corruption of any data or other information transmitted in connection with use of this website. We could change and update information as we deem necessary to improve the experience when visiting the site. Unless agreed, no products or information can be resold.
