Is created when you mix the 3 primary colours together nearly equally.

If you mix primary colours equally they become grey.

If you mix 2 secondary colours they become citrone, olive and russet.

Taupe will have just a little more of one colour - creating a orange taupe, a purple taupe, and a green taupe.

Most people say that a grey with a little less blue (orange taupe) is taupe.

Colour being as subjective that it is, others say anything which is not a perfect grey is taupe.
